Anyways, I am not usually a road ragey motorist. I like driving, and I like to think I take a pretty even approach to it - if there are some idiots on the road, I just try to stay away from them, and also avoid dwelling on any irritating things I see out there. I accept that sometimes, bad things happen,[to good people lol] and traffic can become congested and slow as a consequence, and there’s really nothing I nor anyone else on the road with me can do about it. If people need to move into my lane and they are mostly in front of me using the signal ,I will let off the gas to allow them room to make their move. I wave in thanks when other drivers offer me the same courtesy of making a gap for me.Minght flash a tit!
Some stuff, however, is too annoying, and the agrivation stays with me for a while. I’ve found that cyclists are guilty of inflicting prolonged abuse on me. I have no problem with sharing the road with bikes, but to me, if you’re on the road, that means you have to follow the rules . That means that you don’t dart between lanes of traffic stopped at a light. That means that you have to pay respect to the vehicles around you, and stop cutting someone off. That means you do not ignore lights! Yes, I know it’s chilly outside, and you want to get there as quickly as possible. But come on, if you start doing unsafe things for the sake of hurrying so that you spend less time on your bike in the cold, then maybe you shouldn’t be out riding the bike!!!
